A new trailer accompanying Crunchyroll's Anime Expo 2026 panel confirms that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will stream worldwide from July 28, 2026, nearly a year after its Japanese theatrical bow.
The footage reintroduces the film's premise directly: Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps storming Muzan Kibutsuji's shifting fortress for the franchise's final confrontation. Returning Japanese cast Natsuki Hanae, Takahiro Sakurai and Akira Ishida are confirmed alongside director Haruo Sotozaki.
What separates this trailer from the film's original 2025 marketing is its framing around access rather than plot: Crunchyroll streaming in Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub, day-and-date digital purchase through Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango, and dub or subtitle tracks spanning more than a dozen additional languages. It is, in effect, a distribution trailer for a film whose theatrical run already ended.
The film adapts the opening chapters of Koyoharu Gotouge's Infinity Castle arc, the manga's climactic final storyline, split into three installments releasing roughly two years apart. One casting choice drew outsized attention in the original English-dub rollout: actor Channing Tatum joined the cast as Keizo, a supporting flashback character, after discovering the series by watching it with his daughter.
By the time this trailer surfaced, Infinity Castle had already become the highest-grossing Japanese film ever released worldwide and the highest-grossing anime film of all time. That track record makes the streaming trailer less a pitch than a formality, but it is worth remembering the film ends mid-arc: this is one-third of a story engineered around a two-year wait for its next chapter.
